EU Ecolabel
The EU Ecolabel is the official ecolabel of the EU. In the textile industry, the focus is on more sustainable agriculture, energy efficiency, less pollution in the production process and fewer hazardous substances. The Ecolabel is your guarantee that clothing bearing the EU Ecolabel impacts the environment as little as possible. The EU Ecolabel ensures that the clothing does not contain pesticide residues and other environmentally harmful chemicals, that eco-friendly dyes have been used and that waste water is handled responsibly.

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, annex 4, product class 2
OEKO-TEX® ensures that the product complies with the limit values for the content of substances harmful to health. OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's leading labels for textile products that have been tested for substances harmful to health and the environment. Clothing marked with STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is subject to requirements regarding pH value and the content of, for example, pesticides and heavy metals in the clothing.

ID® has a large selection of STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified products as well as STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, annex 6, product class 1, which imposes even stricter requirements on the clothing's content of substances harmful to health and the environment.

OEKO-TEX® ORGANIC COTTON, annex 6, product class 1
The OEKO-TEX® ORGANIC COTTON certificate covers products made from 100% organic fibres. The certification ensures that the products comply with limit values for harmful substances and are free from GMOs, meaning they are produced without genetic modification. The products are verified from field to finished product, and the certification guarantees that the products meet the additional stringent requirements in Annex 6, Product Class 1.

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, GMO-free, annex 6, product class 1
OEKO-TEX® is your guarantee that the garment does not contain harmful substances. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® concerns organic products. This means that you are guaranteed that the cotton is organic, as well as GMO-free. That is, the cotton is made without the use of genetic engineering and is verified by third-party testing.

The OEKO-TEX® Recycled certificate covers products which contain more than 20% recycled fibre material. The material is subjected to special test procedures in connection with the material recycling process. OEKO-TEX® is your guarantee that the clothing does not contain any substances which are harmful to human health.

The OEKO-TEX® Recycled certificate covers products which contain more than 20% recycled fibre material. The material is subjected to special test procedures in connection with the material recycling process. OEKO-TEX® is your guarantee that the clothing does not contain any substances which are harmful to human health. Furthermore, Annex 6, Product Class 1 also places additional, more stringent requirements on the product.

Better Cotton Initiative
ID® is a happy member of the Better Cotton Initiative. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. Better Cotton is sourced via a system of Mass Balance and is not physically traceable to end products. By using a system of Mass Balance, BCI is able to reach more farmers, meaning more sustainable practices are being implemented around the world.

Amfori BSCI
ID® is a member of amfori BSCI. BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) is a network of 750 European companies which has formulated a set of common ethical principles for purchasing and production in non-EU countries. This means production where there is no child labour, forced labour or any form of discrimination, the guarantee of a safe working environment and reasonable wages and working hours. The rules also carefully consider the environment.

Accord
The Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh (the Accord), from november 2023, is a three year independent, legally binding agreement between apparel brands and retailers and trade unions designed to build a safe and healthy Bangladeshi Ready made Garment (RmG) Industry.
