of the environment
Step by step, we work together on grather responsibility
It is ID® Identity’s goal to minimize the impact we and our suppliers have on the environment. We stress in our Code of Conduct that we aim to work with producers who focus on, and strive to minimise, environmental impact.
Based on our environmental policy, we have taken the next step towards developing methods and procedures for how we organise our work on environmental issues and how we set targets to meet.
Re-duce. Re-use. Re-cycle
Whenever possible, and wherever it makes sense to do so, ID® is focused on recycling.
In addition, we are continuously reducing the use of new raw materials. Watch the video to see what we reduce, reuse and recycle.
We don't ship empty space
or unnecessary packaging
Our new packaging robot was installed in December 2019. The robot helps to minimise empty space in our shipments as it adapts the packaging to the contents and volume of the goods.
The robot uses a laser to measure how much is in the cardboard box; it automatically adjusts the carton height and seals the box, before labels are automatically applied. Next, the robot stacks the ready-packed cardboard boxes on pallets to dispatch the goods to our customers.
The new advanced technology contributes to more eco-friendly and sustainable logistics management.
