What is your passion?

"What keeps me going every day is knowing that I can help people who have a very specific problem. When the patients leave after a successful operation, it's the coolest feeling."

What makes you feel safe when you are at work?

"There's immense focus on the quality of our work, which also means that the quality of the equipment we use has to be up to scratch since it gives us peace of mind. In addition, the clothes I wear must be comfortable and must provide freedom of movement.

"It's important to me that the patient feels safe"

"As a surgical nurse, one of my most important tasks is to make the patient feel comfortable about the operation they’re about to have while providing the care they need. During the operation itself, I make sure to assist the surgeon."
